The Snake
The young red headed girl
Has given birth to a snake
Its feathers plume
As it descends from her womb
Light fills the night sky
Colours from its scales
Reflect and ricochet
Through out space and time
The crowned serpent
Descends to earth
Cascading visions
That meet the onlookers gaze
She has returned him
Birthed him
Bore him forth
To a world of strangers
Who shake in their sleep
Tremble at its touch
Who howl as twilight
Hails down upon them
His mate rises to meet him
Passing through the seven gates
They open effortlessly
Like a clock who's time has come
As they meet, so we shall come together
No longer alone but risen
Feathered too in splendour
Embraced and exhalted
We are the children of snakes
Of the wise forgotten
Remembering the call
From the stars and cauldron
Awake my children
Awake my children
Awake my children
Awake
As this night falls
So begins the New Aeon
Engulfed in affluence
To the dance of a new song
Snake dancers
Serpent headed children
Spiraling masters
Dance together to the New Dawn !
