For those that work Juju, easter weekend is a time when it is said God turns the other way. A time when you can work your darkest of magic with no consequence. I personally prefer to pray for my enemies and it inspired me to write this poem. What if there were no karmic effect, no payback, how then would we act, righteously ? Or like the the Stanford experiment, without consequence would we torture others and the world.
The day God looked away
The day that God looked away
I was standing there alone
In disbelief
What have you done to him
Why have you let him
Suffer so
He was a man of make believe
A man of impossible
Dreams
On the day of no judgement
The silent consequence
Of no repercussions
What would you do if you to
Were allowed the forbidden
Fallen fruits
Would you dine with the Devil
Make him your creator
In dancing destruction
Would you bite deep into its poison
Pleasure on the impossible
Delight in the fallen
Am I alone in this perfected place
Void of malice's whisper
Deaf to it murmur
Swords and daggers drawn
Behexed to this flame
Of fierce conjuring's
The angels bow their heads and cry
As your will is unleashed
Untamed unbridled
Now's the time to have your way
The way you always
Dreamed of
Where your enemies suffer
Where your pride
Takes pleasure
Where everything is only
As you know best
For it to be
On the day that God turned away
You stole a peek
Into the book
To your day of birth and death
And changed the sails
So to never sleep
All others would pay with time
But you'd be free
From effect
Free to build your own design
To work tirelessly
Into eternity
And if everything was as you said
All enemies crushed
Word and deed
And you were the King
When would your time
Come to be crucified
How long till another like you
One who knows better
Will rise above
Become the new conqueror
With others drunk
On dusks rapture
Better this day never comes
And you like me
Take refuge
With he that walked on still waters
With them that surrendered
Their swords
And wait for god again to come
To shower those before
With bright wonders.
