A WORLD FULL OF WONDERS
We don't want to work for money but for love alone
For compassion’s sake and life's budding expression
To implore great forces to come dine with us
And banquet at a great table of our own design
Where artists and muses will gather together
Frolicking and fucking parading their pleasures
Under an arbour of grapevines blossoming
In the city square where time stands still
All the towns folk will come and be shocked
Commanding their young to cover their innocence
Yet entertained, and inspired, to dance with the piper
Who calls them amongst us to abandon their reason
Emptying their pockets of hard-earned belongings
As we thrill them with the delight of strange pleasures
Otherwise unknown and new to their tasting
That loosens the buckles and bracelets
And we will undress before them as poetic heathens
And dance with the snake of the sunlit night
To call forth the twilight and the promise of Eden
To seduce them unto second sight
And for one brief moment all pain will avail us
All suffering will pass before their very eyes
Once again to return home through the veil
To Arcadia with nymph and satyr we will delight
So give me your gold and all that you own
For am i never to toil and work again
But instead to weave splendours with those that remember
Not yet dead but awake in a world full of wonders
For compassion’s sake and life's budding expression
To implore great forces to come dine with us
And banquet at a great table of our own design
Where artists and muses will gather together
Frolicking and fucking parading their pleasures
